About your new role:

As the Project Officer you are responsible for scoping, proposing, and working with key leaders to ensure projects are delivered in line with our organisational plan and budget. The Project Officer will work across multiple activities and participate in multi-disciplinary teams, including working closely with business leaders and subject matter experts.

The role will also have the opportunity to undertake short term relief cover across our Residential Aged Care services to build up key operational knowledge which can be applied to enhance the design of current and future projects.

Duties:

  • Strong ability to question and challenge the status quo and to recommend, coordinate, and implement business solutions ensuring improved customer service delivery
  • Work in conjunction with Business Leads and Subject Matter Experts to ensure change management occurs with strong business communication and engagement, providing regular and accurate updates to stakeholders
  • Plan, prioritise, monitor and control project activities and dependencies; measure and report on progress; advise the Project Sponsor of any potential or actual deviation from the approved targets of time, cost, quality, scope, risks and benefits
  • Facilitate the resolution of project issues; identify and manage project risks to control changes and impacts to the project targets, scope, schedule and costs
  • Provide onsite support to Residential Aged Care Managers as required, this may involve providing relief cover 

Skills and Experience:

  • No formal qualifications are required, but previous experience in a similar role would be ideal
  • A strong alignment to our TRACI Values and Behaviours
  • A collaborative, can-do approach, with an ability to think outside the box to make things happen
  • Ability to work independently to meet deadlines, show initiative and facilitate project outcomes
  • An ability to manage multiple projects across disciplines
  • Ability to management conflicting organisational requirements
  • Demonstrated experience managing and influencing stakeholder expectations
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Willingness to obtain or provide proof of Up-to-date Influenza & Covid-19 Vaccinations
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
  • Willingness to obtain National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check
  • Willingness to obtain or provide proof of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
