Business Improvement Lead

Baptistcare are seeking someone passionate about Aged Care to join our every growing team.

Working as an integral member of the Home Care Services Team, this position is responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational areas of Baptistcare’s Home Care Services Programs. This position is responsible for supporting the team’s Business and Strategic plans.

At the operational level, the position reports directly to the Senior Manager of Home Care Services and liaises with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure Baptistcare’s governance standards, legislation and compliance obligations are met and ensuring further growth through building mutually beneficial Community and Corporate relationships ensuring the sustainability of the service.

To be successful in this role you will have to be a resourceful thinker with great initiative who is driven to produce the best results for our customers. You will be able to readily work in both an autonomous capacity and within a close-knit team environment.

The role will cover areas surrounding:

  • Service delivery Reporting and Practice
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Business Development
  • Quality assurance and Systems Support

The preferred candidate will have:

  • Alignment to our TRACI Values and ‘Love to See’ behaviours.
  • Tertiary level qualification in a related/appropriate field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience within Home Care Services.
  • Demonstrated high level of understanding and commitment to person-directed service development and delivery.
  • Proven ability to build strong networks which promote programs and services with stakeholders and referral sources.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively lead, operate and drive change to improve service delivery outcome.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and customers.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis with data gathered through various audit means and supporting service teams to actively establish good quality practices.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed organisational skills to be able to work autonomously, manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing fee-for-service processes, memberships and sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated skill in report writing.
