Are you a strategic and values-driven leader passionate about improving the lives of older adults? Holstep Health is seeking an experienced Manager Active & Healthy Ageing to lead a diverse portfolio of allied health, nursing and wellbeing services that support older people to live independently.

This is a full time role, based in inner north Melbourne, member of a dynamic management team and reporting to the Director Aged & Primary Care, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative, person-centred services that respond to evolving aged care reforms while driving service excellence, growth and sustainability.

YOUR NEW ROLE:

As Manager Active & Healthy Ageing, you will provide leadership across a multidisciplinary program, ensuring high-quality service delivery, achievement of performance outcomes, financial sustainability and compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.

You will guide the development of services and program in an integrated way, identify and manage risks and engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, specifically the Manager will provide strong leadership across all Program operations that ensure:

  • Effective management, development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of all operations in the context of a changing external environment and fiscal constraints;
  • Drive integrated and consumer directed care approaches with a focus on wellness, independence, restorative care and reablement;
  • Develop and foster an effective and empowered work culture; and
  • Strengthen collaborative partnerships to grow services.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

In this leadership role you are responsible for:

  • Leading the operational management, development and evaluation of Active & Healthy Ageing services.
  • Ongoing development and growth of high performing team.
  • Driving integrated, wellness-focused and reablement models of care.
  • Identifying and implementing service improvement and innovation opportunities.
  • Positioning the organisation to respond to aged care reforms and growth opportunities.
  • Managing program budgets, reporting requirements and performance outcomes.
  • Building and leading a high-performing, engaged and values-driven workforce.
  • Developing strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing expert advice on aged care policy, funding and sector reforms

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

You are an experienced senior leader with a strong understanding of contemporary aged care and a passion for creating positive outcomes for older people.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex aged care services across clinical and social care settings.
  • Relevant graduate and postgraduate qualifications in aged care, health or a related discipline.
  • Strong people leadership skills with proven experience leading change and building high-performing teams.
  • Sound knowledge of aged care legislation, policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A track record of service growth, innovation and business development.
  • Strong financial management, planning and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
