What We’re Looking For:

  • Some experience in events, hospitality, or volunteering
  • Comfortable giving direction and jumping on the tongs when needed
  • Available for a monthly Saturday BBQ

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation, full setup, operation, and pack-down of the monthly sausage sizzle event.

  • Liaise with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure adequate volunteer support for each event.

  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards throughout the event.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with designated contacts if replenishment is needed.
  • Operate and manage EFTPOS payment systems (Square/iPhone) and cash handling processes.
  • Liaise with Bunnings staff to coordinate check-in, gas rotations, and event wrap-up.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and manage any issues professionally.
  • Handle customer feedback with confidence and professionalism.
  • Brief and debrief volunteers as they clock on and off to ensure smooth handover to next volunteer.1781230113_T0dVt_.png
