We currently have a permanent, full time opportunity for a Data Analyst, Distribution Support to join the Distribution Team. The Data Analyst, Distribution Support will assist the senior business analyst in influencing the bank’s Retail leadership to recognise business problems, map processes and manage the change agenda. They use data from a variety of sources to identify trends that assist the distribution team provide business managers support to assist in achieving goals.

What you will be doing

• Assist the Senior Business Analyst with department and individual KPI’s to ensure they are met in a timely and effective manner
• Provide advice and insights to the Distribution Team on change and communication objectives to continually optimise outcomes
• Coordinate with other departments such as Finance, Strategy, Business Intelligence and Communication on business requirements
• Provide support for reports, presentations and recommendations as required from relevant sources
• Assist coordination of communication strategies around change and transformation within Distribution
• Assist in report automation goals and other distribution projects as required.

What you will bring

• Sound knowledge and experience in data analysis and compilation
• Ability to understand raw data, identify trends, prepare reports and recommendations
• Ability to create visualisations, including dashboards, flowcharts and graphs
• Ability to effectively set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment – both leading and participating
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly desirable
