Positions

We have two exciting opportunities in our legal and industrial team for:

• Senior National Legal Officer and;
• Industrial Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic Legal Officer with a strong work ethic and at least 2 years of experience in industrial relations and advocacy.

You will be a self-starter who is able to function within a team in a fast-moving and dynamic legal, business and political environment but also capable of making decisions and working autonomously as required.

Industrial Officer

The Industrial Officer position is based in our New South Wales Branch (Granville, NSW) and includes the following work:

• Advocacy before the Fair Work Commission, Industrial Relations Commission of NSW, and Courts
• Providing advice and support to members around a range of industrial and legal matters, including: disciplinary matters; dispute resolution; discrimination; harassment; bullying; redundancy, unfair dismissal and adverse action
• Drafting enterprise agreements and assisting Organisers with enterprise bargaining
• Development of educational materials and delivery of training for members and Union Officials

Remuneration

Salary will be offered depending on experience and skills plus superannuation and other generous conditions.
