Seeking a an experienced Global Conference Coordinator to assist AVI in organising the International Forum for Volunteering for Development (IVCO) IVCO2020 Global Conference – Virtually!

With a head office in Fitzroy, Melbourne, AVI has 150 staff globally across 22 international offices in geographical regions including Asia, Africa, PNG and the Pacific.
AVI has been selected to host this year’s Forum’s global conference, called IVCO2020 from 26-28 October 2020 (www.ivco2020.org) . The conference was arranged for Nadi, Fiji, but will now be virtual on the same dates. vFairs has been selected as the provider of the virtual conference platform.
Reporting to the CEO and International Forum for Volunteering for Development (IVCO) Working Group, this role is responsible for coordinating the virtual conference for AVI. The conference is expected to attract between 300-500 delegates.
This is a part-time maximum term role until 30 October 2020, based in Fitzroy, Melbourne with Work from Home arrangements will be in place in light of COVID-19. We will accept applications for those wishing to be engaged on an independent contractor basis.
