Seeking an Accreditation Officer to lead AVI accreditation requirements

With a head office in Fitzroy, Melbourne, AVI has 150 staff globally across 22 international offices in geographical regions including Asia, Africa, PNG and the Pacific.

AVI is seeking a passionate, experienced and skilled Accreditation Officer to ensure we meet our accreditation obligations for DFAT.

This is a fixed-term role 0.6 to 0.8 FTE starting ASAP (or at the latest 17 February 2020) until 3 April 2020 based in Fitzroy, Melbourne. You will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing DFAT Desk Assessment
  • Creating a work plan to successfully prepare for the organisational review
  • Prepare documentation pack requested in Desk Assessment and collate for accreditors
  • Be the point of contact for accreditors during the organisational review (24-26th March)
  • Ensuring the organisational review runs smoothly

You will be personable, consultative and team oriented and have:

  • Experience in managing accreditation processes or similar preferably within the not for profit sector
  • Well-developed project management skills to deliver results on time
  • Excellent communication and written skills
