Our intervention program includes individualised case management with both girls and their families, resources to attend school/university, life skills, and personal development workshops, career counselling and girls clubs. Since its inception in 2013, we have had great success and impact in keeping girls in school, changing attitudes in communities and schools on the importance of girls’ education and reducing the very high dropout rates for girls in secondary school. We are currently working with 200 girls (and their families) who attend our 5 partnered government schools, university and vocational training. 

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and passionate Social Work Advisor to join our Cambodia Country team of case managers and workshop facilitators in Phnom Penh. The position will report directly to the Country Director and is a key part of the SHINE case management program. The SHINE case management team is led by the Project Manager, supported by the Case Work Specialist and five Social Workers.

  • You will need to support oversight and improvement of case management processes and capacity building of all case management and program staff members.
  • You will need to have minimum of bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Child Protection and minimum of 4 years demonstrated experience in Social Work.
  • You will have the opportunity to live and work in Cambodia’s capital city, Phnom Penh, which is the cultural, commercial and political hub of the country.
