We’re looking for a Research Animal Health who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online) and in-country for a total of 13 months.
This assignment is part of the Health Security Corps, which is part of the Australian Government’s Health Security Initiative. Through the Australian Volunteers Program, Health Security Corps volunteers are deployed in non-clinical health roles to build the capacity of partner organisations to prevent, detect and control infectious disease threats across our Indo-Pacific region.
The International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) is based in Hanoi. IRLI is an international agricultural research institute and works with partners worldwide to improve food security and nutrition and reduce poverty in developing countries through research for efficient, safe, and sustainable use of livestock. The volunteer will help build capacity for their local partners.
The Australian Volunteers Program is an Australian government-funded initiative. We support partner organisations across the Pacific, Asia, and Africa to achieve locally led change.
Volunteers are supported throughout their volunteer journey, and we actively support and encourage people of all backgrounds and abilities to volunteer and aim to make the program as accessible and inclusive as possible. Find out more.
There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment.
The allowance for the in-country phase is AUD$1,996per month
The allowance for the remote phase is AUD$79 per month.
