Kythe Foundation is a non-profit, non-stock organisation aimed towards improving the quality of life among hospitalised children with cancer and other chronic illness. Kythe has a wide pool of volunteers who play and interact with children in hospitals, usually during weekends. Some volunteers also assist in kite flying activities and summer camps.
A volunteer is now needed to assist Kythe in formulating training designs and modules for the Child Life Program Trainers Manual which is essential in institutionalising Kythe in the health care setting. The volunteer will assist in the program design, implementation and management, and monitoring and evaluation (PDIMME) of the Child Life Program. The role will entail a lot of review of key documents, research, writing, coordination, and conducting capacity-building activities.
