We’re looking for an Accounting and Financial Systems Development Mentor who can volunteer in a hybrid role both remotely (online from home) and in-country for a total of 12 months.
Guba is a permaculture training organisation based in Malkerns, in eSwatini. Their vision is for all people in eSwatini to have secure access to nutritious food and clean water (achieved through their own activities and energy), while living in a state of ecological and economic stability. Guba supports people to affect planned change toward this vision through the provision of high quality learning opportunities, rooted in regenerative permaculture approaches to farming and human development.
In conjunction with the team the volunteer would support the establishment of an accounting system using QuickBooks online (QBO) (including budget functionality and reporting) and provide training as needed. They would also review the financial policies and procedures of the organisation to ensure they are to the highest standard.

There are two allowances for a hybrid assignment.
The allowance for the in-country phase is AUD $2100 per month, the allowance for the remote phase is AUD $79per month.
Additional requirements for this assignment include a First Aid Certificate.
