About the Role

Are you and experienced or newly graduated Speech Pathologist seeking a broad and varied role with outstanding developmental opportunities? If so, this may be the role for you!

As an integral part of our Autism Queensland's team within Rockhampton, you will work as part of a dynamic, trans-disciplinary team providing individual and small group services to individuals with a diagnosis of autism. This role offers diversity and tremendous professional development opportunities in the design, implementation and delivery of programs for individuals and their families in both centre-based and outreach services. 

This position is being offered on both a permanent full-time or part-time basis, (8:30am - 4:30pm). If preference is for part-time work, 3-4 days per week would be preferred, although 2 days per week will be considered for the right candidate.

Skills & Experience

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) or due to gain membership by early 2020
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and understanding to deliver speech therapy services to individuals on the autism spectrum
  • Proven ability to work effectively with families and collaboratively within a trans-disciplinary team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
