The opportunity

This is a fast paced role, supporting multiple Aged and Community Care services and clients from across the country. Be responsible for the intake of clients into multiple databases, predominantly from the My Aged Care portal. This includes contact with clients via phone, preparation of care plans that reflect clients’ needs and preferences and all supporting administration and data entry to complete intake. 

The position will be connected to a local Red Cross office, however your direct team will be nationwide and therefore daily connection is virtually via Microsoft Teams.

What you will bring 

• Demonstrated ability to use a variety of software tools and applications simultaneously to complete a task.
• Excellent records management and general administration skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
• Ability to solve work related problems of limited difficulty using knowledge, judgement and work skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in providing programs to consumers from diverse backgrounds and cultures, including (but not limited to) First Nations, CALD and LGBTIQ+.
