About the role

The Australasian Menopause Society (AMS) is seeking an organised and proactive Education Coordinator to support the delivery of its education program. This role coordinates and supports AMS education activities, including webinars, courses, podcasts, workshops, and the Annual Congress. Working closely with clinicians, researchers, the Executive Director, and the Board Education Sub-Committee, you will help ensure AMS education is well-coordinated, evidence-based, and accessible to health professionals across Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate AMS education programs including webinars, workshops, podcasts, courses and the Annual Congress 
  • Support delivery of the Advanced Course in Menopause Care 
  • Liaise with clinicians, speakers, sponsors, and event partners 
  • Manage event logistics including registrations, speakers, and online delivery 
  • Prepare CPD accreditation applications and maintain education records 
  • Support promotion of education activities via email, website, and social media 
  • Maintain the AMS eLearning platform and educational resources 
  • Develop surveys, analyse feedback, and prepare evaluation reports 
  • Support member enquiries and membership administration 
  • Assist with AGM, Annual Report, and other organisational projects 

About you

You are highly organised, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. You have a strong interest in women's health and possess:

  • Qualifications in education, public health, health promotion, policy or related field. 
  • At least 3 years’ experience in education coordination, project coordination, or program administration roles (health or NFP sector preferred). 
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Experience developing evaluation tools and reporting outcomes. 
  • Excellent written communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
  • Experience with CPD accreditation is highly desirable.

The AMS is a clinician-led society that exists to advance the care of women in midlife by leading clinical education, supporting research and evidence translation, and being a trusted source of information for health professionals and the public. The AMS shares knowledge, resources, and connections to advance evidence-based practice and improve women’s health in Australia and New Zealand. Members of the AMS are doctors and other healthcare professionals who have a special interest in women's health in midlife with a focus on menopause and the promotion of healthy ageing.
