The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Multi-Country Representation in Canberra invites applications for the full time National Professional Officer position of Senior Protection Officer.

Applicants must be Australian citizens and have an advanced university degree in Law, International Law, Political Sciences or related fields, with good knowledge of international refugee, human rights and humanitarian law. 9 years of relevant experience with an Undergraduate degree; or 8 years of relevant experience with a Graduate degree; or 7 years of relevant experience with a Doctorate degree is required, in addition to strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to analyse international and domestic refugee policy and practice.
