The Project Manager will primarily support the Transformation program of work and the various projects at varying stages in the project lifecycle.

You will be hands on and working closely with key stakeholders to drive end to end project management functions, from initiation through to planning, execution, closing and post implementation review.

You will be collaborative in nature in ensuring the establishment of project governance, preparing project plans and schedules, coordinating resources, progress tracking and risk management.

Your new role...

  • Lead the initiation, set up and planning of new projects, working collaboratively with key stakeholders, ensuring all project resources, processes, tools and governance structures are in place.
  • Apply best practice project management methodologies (PMBoK / Prince2) and supporting tools with the ability to guide project team members on current and next stage in the project lifecycle
  • Develop high quality project artefacts – Terms of Reference, Project Plans, Schedules, Resource Plans, Risk Registers – which can then be transitioned to project resources to manage ongoing
  • Define project costs, scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Utilise the Transformation Program Change Management Framework to implement relevant change and communication activities
  • Collaborate with transformation program project stakeholders to ensure effective interface between project developments, planning and interdependencies

Must have's...

  • A positive and contemporary attitude to people with disability, their families and carers
  • 10+ years’ experience as a Project Manager successfully supporting a broad range of business and technical projects
  • Formal qualifications in best practice project management methodologies (PMBoK/Prince2) with demonstrated practical experience
  • The ability to prioritise work across competing projects, whilst being flexible and agile, with quality deliverables and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders at various levels
  • Strong project administrative skills; time management, coordination of tasks, efficient work practices
  • High level interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent computer literacy and well-developed business technology skills
  • A current Australian driver’s license
  • The ability to travel intra and interstate as required
