As our Finance Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting, enabling, and maintaining the integrity and accuracy of Aruma's financial data, transactional information and financial systems by providing quality and timely system support to the Finance teams at Aruma

What success looks like...

The focus of this role will be to work collaboratively with finance teams to provide effective diagnostic and analytical support for systems end-users, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial and transactional data across Aruma.

You will also have experience in:

• Applied strong SQL experience, including some understanding of the code to support the back-end system process, ensuring issues were identified and resolved efficiently, and system met user requirements.
• Applied comprehensive expertise to extract, transform and load (ETL) processes across complex system landscapes, ensuring issues were identified and resolved efficiently, and that the finance system met user requirements.
• Reviews and recommends improvements to existing processes and procedures within the scope of the financial system.
• Provided a high-quality service using technical capability and systems knowledge to ensure the timely provision of financial systems support.
• Built strong relationships and worked collaboratively to strengthen internal and external stakeholders' engagement thus ensuring customer service excellence and a commitment to quality outcomes.

Skills that make you stand out...

• Degree in Business, IT or Finance, with a minimum of five years' experience as a as a Finance Systems Analyst.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL Service Management Studio (SSMS).
• Core systems experience in Great Plains or similar sized Finance/ERP system.
• Practical experience using Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills.
• A practical understanding of Finance Transformation projects.
• Excellent technical capability and ability to apply innovative solutions to suit the business context.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills that display a high-level of financial and business acumen.
• Excellent administration and time management skills with the ability to coordinate tasks and prioritise and resolve issues quickly.
