The Arts Law Centre of Australia exists to strengthen arts and culture to make a better world. As the national community legal centre for the arts, we provide specialised legal services to Australian creatives and their communities, including free or low-cost legal advice, education and resources. Arts Law also has a service which delivers legal help to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and organisations, called Artists in the Black.
This is a great opportunity to join our small team of lawyers who are energised by their love of the arts and dedicated to helping Australian creators protect their rights and grow their arts practice. We welcome applications from enthusiastic and dynamic lawyers with a strong knowledge of art law issues, who will benefit from the direct artist contact this job provides as well as the engagement with the wide range of areas of law on which we advise, including copyright, contracts, defamation and business structures to name a few.

Salary: annual base salary of $94,500 + annual leave loading + 12% super + voluntary salary packaging available. Negotiable.
Work arrangements: Flexible working arrangements, including work from home flexibility on Monday and Friday, and a compressed four-day work week (35-hour work week spread across Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Friday)
Office: Haymarket Sydney (remote work is available to right candidate)
