OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose is to enable a circular future for floorcoverings in Australia through a trusted program that delivers value for members and the community. We coordinate the recovery of post-consumer floorcovering materials so they can enter recycling pathways in Australia instead of ending up in landfill. With the support of leading brand owners, we also fund research and development of new end markets and processes for the materials and are driving a circularity mindset across the industry.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As we move from our start up phase of laying the foundations of the product stewardship scheme, we're looking for someone who can expand our collection network nationally, partnering with commercial contractors, retailers and construction projects; drive efficiencies in reverse logistics, and support development of reliable end markets for the materials.

Reporting to the CEO, this is a critical role requiring

  • Management of end-to-end scheme operations (collection, transport, processing, and recycling)
  • Recruiting and on-boarding of new participants and recyclers
  • Managing supplier and recycler contracts
  • Improving data capture, operational efficiency, performance monitoring & reporting
  • Managing operational risks and compliance
  • Identifying opportunities to improve scheme outcomes, potential R&D initiatives, end markets and recycling partners

This is an exciting stage of the scheme's evolution, building from the existing support of 17 internationally renowned product brands, as well as major floorcovering retail groups and contractors. The opportunity exists for ResiLoop to become a world leading example of product stewardship in the floorcovering sector.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a practical, people-focused operations leader who is calm under pressure and overseeing multiple tasks. You build strong relationships, representing ResiLoop in a professional and approachable manner. Using your attention to detail and problem-solving skills, you enjoy taking ownership, working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a small team to resolve challenges and contribute to sustainable outcomes.

As an outward-facing role, we're seeking a go-getter, someone with strategic initiative to drive growth in a challenging environment of balancing supply and demand factors. It will take a problem-solving attitude and continuous improvement mindset to feel comfortable.

You'll also bring

  • experience in managing supply chain operations
  • accurate data analysis and reporting skills
  • excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills

And an understanding of, or experience in product stewardship/EPR frameworks would help.

ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

Predominantly working from home with regular stakeholder-facing meetings and in-office team days.

0.8FTE or Full Time considered.
