Arc is pretty awesome, it's the kind of place where we wrap people's desk's in gift wrap for birthdays, have a half decent netball team, eat cake and Friday happy hours start at 5pm (ok... 4.45pm). Located on the University of New South Wales campus, Arc is one of Australia's biggest & best student organisations and is made up of a dynamic and energetic group of people focused on providing students and clients with the best experience possible. We work hard. We expect results (but we have fun doing it). We are committed to providing the students of UNSW relevant and beneficial opportunities to be a part of – this is where you come in.
Here are a few key responsibilities and experience requirements however, check out the Position Description here for the rest.
We are looking for a generalist with HR experience at a similar level, as well as experience and knowledge across a breadth of key Human Resource functions including recruitment, payroll, workplace agreements, employment legislation and workforce development. You will have experience working with Human Resource software systems and a high level of competence in Microsoft Office Packages, as well as experience in delivering services, including the ability to anticipate and resolve problems with practical and positive solutions.
Our ideal candidate will be able to work both autonomously and within cross functional teams, and be able to create and foster enduring and valuable relationships. In addition to strong interpersonal and communications skills, the candidate will bring strong ethics, a professional work attitude and an attention to detail to the role.
Equally importantly, we’re looking for someone who shares our values and culture, who bring passion and positivity, and makes sure their team embodies the same positive culture. Check out the PD here for the role’s selection criteria on our careers site.
