Within the ANU College of Law, Governance and Policy, The Centre for Indigenous
Economic Transformation (CIET) is an Indigenous-led national hub advancing First Nations economic self-determination through research, policy, partnerships and education.
Based at The Australian National University, CIET works with First Nations organisations, governments, industry and philanthropy to drive practical, systems-level change across areas including economic empowerment, capital access, trade and investment, clean energy transition opportunities and Indigenous-led governance.
We are seeking a strategic and action-oriented Senior Policy Advisor to support the Centre’s policy and partnerships agenda during a significant growth phase.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Policy and Partnerships, you will help shape and deliver high-quality policy analysis, reform initiatives and stakeholder engagement activities that connect research and evidence with practical action.

You are a thoughtful and highly capable policy professional with strong analytical, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
You bring:
Experience working in Indigenous policy, government, research, economic development or community sectors will be highly regarded.
