What’s the job?

annecto is engaged in multiple housing projects, in conjunction with SDA providers to deliver support to individuals residing in their own home in new apartment/unit complexes. The projects have been established to provide an opportunity for individuals with complex physical support and communication needs to live in and enjoy a lifestyle of choice. The role will also involve travelling across multiple sites, located around Melbourne metro region and outer suburbs to service client requirements.

What we need from you:

  • Commitment to the principles and aims of the Victorian State Disability Plan 2017 – 2020;
  • Demonstrated skills in person-centred planning, assessment and participatory leadership approaches;
  • Tertiary Qualifications in relevant health/disability/social sciences;
  • High-level communication stakeholder management and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative, whilst working as part of a team;
  • Collaborative, dynamic and flexible decision-making style;
  • Openness and confidence to engage with diverse communities to achieve positive outcomes;
  • Excellent time management and flexibility;
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence;
  • Willingness to undergo probity checks - Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme (DWES) and National Police check

What would be great to have?

  • Knowledge of client databases e.g. CareLink;
  • Ability to speak a community language/s;
  • Experience working in a similar capacity in a community based not-for-profit organisation.
