We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic applicant to work within the Financial Counselling Program to provide a free and confidential financial counselling intake service for individuals and families who are experiencing financial hardship.
The work of the Financial Counselling team focuses on advocacy on behalf of low income consumers, promotion of a personal capacity to make responsible use of credit and financial resources, and improving the financial literacy of the broader community. The Intake Worker will be instrumental in providing financial counselling support including assessment of a client’s financial situation, the provision of information and referral to other relevant services and forging referral pathways with Family Violence Agencies across Gippsland.

To be successful in this position you will need to have completed at a minimum, Diploma of Financial Counselling.
