At Anglicare Victoria our focus is on transforming the futures of children and young people, families and adults. Our work is based on three guiding pillars, Prevent, Protect, Empower. We offer a comprehensive network of services and seek to ensure the provision of high quality services that will bring about significant improvements in the life experience of the young people, children and families/caregivers with whom we work.
The Cradle to Kinder program sits in a multi - disciplinary team with Integrated Family Services, and is part of the broader Outer Eastern Family Services Program. Cradle to Kinder is a whole of family service that supports vulnerable and at risk young families. The service begins with antenatal support and may continue until the child reaches four years of age. The aim of the program is to build the capacity of parents to provide for the children's health, safety and development, and support their family's self-reliance and sustainability through access to education, training and employment. The program is delivered in a consortium with Mercy Health O'Connell Family Centre and Care Inc, and covers the Outer East catchment. The role also includes referrals for generalist Integrated Family Services.
Please Note: It is mandatory for the successful applicant to hold a current Working with Children Check and be prepared to undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to commencement.
