The role calls for experienced practitioners to work as part of AV’s after hours program, responding to complex after hours matters supporting our 28 residential units, foster carers and any other person needing support.
This is an outreach role, providing hands on services to colleagues, carers and our young people when additional support is required, such as in times of crisis, providing additional staffing support in our residential youth houses, supporting young people out of hours with transport, police or medical matters. You need to be able to make complex decisions, offer expert advice, problem solve and support staff and carers, putting your expertise to use in a hands on capacity.
This role offers 7 shifts per fortnight working from 11.30pm to 6.00am however there may be requirements for flexibility with the hours depending on client need.
