Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a compassionate Team Leader to coach, support and develop volunteers to deliver an effective Emergency Assistance program. AnglicareSA’ s Emergency Assistance program provides relief through the provision of food, clothing, medication, blankets, linen as well as advocacy for individuals and families in need.

What can you expect to be doing?

• Supervise and support volunteers and students to deliver services to customers.
• Guide & mentor volunteer performance and development to enable high quality service delivery.
• Ensure that barriers to accessing services are identified and addressed where possible.
• Monitor and report on the needs of individuals and families experiencing crisis.
• Provide formal and informal debriefing and support for volunteers and students.

What do you need to bring?

• Tertiary qualification in a Community Services field (essential) OR Diploma Financial Counselling.
• Current First Aid Certificate (essential).
•  Proven experience working with individuals, families / communities experiencing vulnerability.
• Knowledge of emergency relief and community development program models and strategies.
