Who are we looking for?

A motivated Occupational Therapist to join our fun and supportive multi-disciplinary team. Outreach AnglicareSA Therapeutic Services (OATS) provides specialist intervention, education and therapy services to children, young people and some adults within education, community and work settings.

Using your exceptional interpersonal skills, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop and deliver individualised services to a paediatric case load focused on the needs of each customer and providing support across their activities of daily living. You will work alongside therapists with a range of experiences and knowledge, fostering continuous professional development through information sharing.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Assess the needs of the children/young people and develop therapeutic plans accordingly.
  • Provide written reports, including recommendations to colleagues, families and other professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with other NDIS providers, health services and Schools and or child care centres to achieve goals facilitating a holistic service approach.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision, with a focus on development of clinical reasoning and reflective practice.
  • Communicate directly with National Disability Insurance Agency and other relevant funding bodies.

What do you need to bring?

  • Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration through AHPRA.
  • Knowledge of a range of developmental delays and disorders (desirable).
  • A positive attitude and passion for improving the lives of children and young people living with a disability.
