Anglican Overseas Aid (AOA) is a faith‑based international development organisation working for gender and climate justice across the Asia‑Pacific and Africa. We are seeking a Standards and Compliance Lead to support DFAT Full Reaccreditation and strengthen organisational systems during a defined, high‑impact contract period.

About the role

This role coordinates accreditation and compliance processes while strengthening sustainable systems beyond accreditation deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

• DFAT Full Reaccreditation coordination (Agency Profile, Desk Assessment, Organisation Review)
• ACFID Code of Conduct compliance
• Policy and compliance system oversight
• Safeguarding and complaints leadership
• Staff training and implementation monitoring

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring:

• Strong compliance, accreditation or governance experience
• Confidence coordinating organisation‑wide processes
• A calm, collaborative approach to complex deadlines
• Alignment with AOA’s Christian ethos and willingness to authentically participate in its spiritual life

Practical details

• 0.8 FTE, contract to November 2027
• Melbourne‑based with flexible working options. Remote will be considered
• SCHADS Award Level 4
