Sometimes hectic, often challenging but never dull - Medical Reception is the perfect platform for a born multi-tasker, a talented and empathetic people-person, to excel.

We're looking for someone like you; you have great problem-solving skills. You know how to resolve queries and complaints, and handle feedback with grace and integrity. And for you, there's no greater reward than that of helping people.

Want to know more?

The core mission of Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for children, young people and families. We have a particular focus on serving vulnerable communities in the ACT and regional, rural NSW.

There will never be a dull moment in this role; as our new full-time Medical Receptionist, you will be undertaking general administrative duties, facilitating young people's access to healthcare and support services, and working as a member of a multidisciplinary team that provides holistic support to young people.

Are you who we're looking for?

If you are, you have an interest in commitment to working with disenfranchised populations and have an understanding of the unique skills, challenges and rewards that come with working in the community sector. And it goes without saying that you're professional, courteous and discreet with a friendly personality.

But most importantly, you enjoy assisting those who need it most. After all, in this role you will be helping people every day; often people who are predominantly at-risk, vulnerable, and impoverished. You will be a key player in making the difficult less difficult, and that's priceless.

What can we offer you?

The hourly rate for this position is $29.12 - $31.78 (depending on experience), and 10% employer superannuation guarantee. There will be plenty of opportunities for career and professional development. You'll have the full support of a passionate and proactive team. And as a permanent employee, you'll be looking at generous salary packaging benefits with personal leave and paid parental leave.
