About Us

Australian Disability Network (AusDN) works with 430+ blue chip active members from private, public and not-for-profit sectors to increase access and inclusion for people with disability as employees and customers. We are a highly respected and trusted organisation, with a great culture.

We’re driven by our belief that people with disability are skilled and capable social and economic contributors, entitled to share in the economic, social, cultural and political wealth of Australia. We empower our network of members to be actively inclusive of customers and employees with disability. We support them to build their understanding and expertise, connect with others and check their progress on access and inclusion.

about the role

The Relationship Manager role at AusDN sits at the intersection of purpose and performance. This is not a role for someone who simply wants to do good work - it's a role for someone who can deliver it, consistently, across a diverse and demanding portfolio.

You will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of Canberra-based member organisations, which means getting out and meeting people, building the kinds of relationships that create trust, open doors and drive real change in how organisations approach disability inclusion and access. At the same time, you will be managing multiple concurrent deliverables, tight timelines, and your own workload without close supervision.

Success here requires someone who is deeply motivated by the mission, brings precision and discipline to their work, and knows how to hold both the relationship and the result. If you thrive when you own your work and take initiative without being asked, this role was built for you.

Key deliverables of the role

  • Manage a portfolio of mainly ACT-based member organisations, supporting them to develop and achieve their disability and inclusion goals AusDN’s services and programs.
  • Build and sustain high-quality member relationships, including regular in-person engagement across Canberra.
  • Contribute to member retention and, where opportunities arise, engagement of prospective members.
  • Stay current with research, policy and best practice in disability inclusion and accessibility, and share relevant insights with members and the broader team.
  • Deliver consulting, analysis, reporting and recommendations to members in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records in Salesforce.
  • Design and deliver programs, training, educational and promotional events.
  • Support the delivery of projects that advance equitable inclusion of people with disability across all aspects of business.
  • Support the delivery of informative and engaging networking events for members.
