PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

As the Digital Marketing Specialist (Paid Media) you will drive AI Australia's paid digital advertising strategy across SEM, social media, display, and emerging channels to advance our human rights mission. Working with external agencies and internal teams, you will create data-driven campaigns that build awareness, engage new audiences, and convert supporters through advocacy actions and donations.

KEY DUTIES

  • Planning and production of digital media ad campaigns and projects, including channel, propositions, content, audience, tactics and testing.
  • Collaborate with Fundraising and People Powered Campaigning Units to coordinate and align digital media plans, tactics, and KPIs.
  • Optimise digital ads for donor conversion together with Individual Giving team.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to develop and adapt content based on KPIs, learnings and performance.
  • Contributing to digital ad monitoring and reporting on analytical insights across all paid digital media activities.
  • Production of digital ad creative and copy as well as associated assets and materials, including landing / action pages, visual assets, digital resources, etc.
  • Contribute to management of digital ad platforms including building and optimising ads.
  • Managing custom audiences for digital ad platforms.
  • Undertaking online moderation and community management duties in collaboration with wider Movement Experience team, with a particular focus on social ad moderation.
  • Contributing to the implementation and delivery of the Audience Strategy, supporting the Digital Marketing Specialist - Paid Media on robust digital media plans.
  • Creating empowering, respectful and sensitive content and stories in collaboration with rights holders, marginalised groups, and those with lived experience.
  • Performing role to a high standard within agreed timelines, and in line with AIA’s vision and values.

  • Other tasks within your skills and competence as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years of experience in a digital/creative production role, including testing and analytics, copywriting and creative production. Management of performance leads integration.
  • Ad management experience.
  • Experience monitoring, analysing and reporting on ad campaigns.
  • Paid digital media planning.

DESIRABLE

  • Demonstrated experience in or commitment to working with rights holders.

SKILLS

  • Strong stakeholder manager, able to communicate with people from different backgrounds.
  • Solid analytical and solution mindset.
  • Strong collaborator, achieve goals together with different teams.
