About the team

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will join the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Marketing team and will work closely with the ANZ Product team and will have a dotted line to the North American product marketing team.

What you will be working on

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be crafting and executing go-to-market plans for AlayaCare’s portfolio of products. You will be a liaison between the product team and the customer-facing teams, responsible for the messaging and positioning around key features, benefits, and differentiators. More specifically you will be:

  • Leading our go-to-market (GTM) strategy – partnering closely with marketing, product, sales, customer experience and executive stakeholders to build and execute our GTM launch plans.
  • Conducting customer research and interviews to understand the voice of customer, as well as their pain points, needs and goals.
  • Translating product features into benefits and values that resonates with our target prospective and client personas and help drive optimisations to our end-to-end customer buying journey.
  • Supporting sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and support the development of sales content and tools that that drive demand of our products.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape, our competitor’s products, and their positioning.
  • Collaborating with the Product teams to provide data insights and help influence the ANZ roadmap.
  • Assess the effectiveness of programs and report back to the business.

What we're looking for in a Product Marketing Manager

  • Marketing qualification or similar.
  • 4-7 years' relevant experience with understanding of the product development lifecycle.
  • A self starter capable of managing multiple projects, prioritising workload, and meeting deadlines.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create a meaningful story that resonates with both current and prospective clients.A creative and technical nature with the ability to translate complex software functions or workflows into engaging content
  • Strong interpersonal skills – you actively build and maintain relationships with others.
  • Flexible work style – you’re able to collaborate across teams and work independently. Flexible for some early morning calls with North America as well.
  • Adaptable to adjust to changing priorities and able to proactively make new suggestions or recommendations for constant improvement.
  • A thirst for knowledge and the ability to learn quickly.
