We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our collaborative sales team. In this role, you’ll be at the centre of sales program and customer engagement— creating opportunities through outbound calls, responding to inbound enquiries, preparing quotations, supporting the field sales team, and building lasting relationships through exceptional service and product knowledge.
What you’ll do
- Engage directly with customers via phone and email to provide quotes, product advice, and follow-up support.
- Create sales opportunities, quotes, and rapport through outbound calls.
- Convert inbound enquiries into proposals and sales orders, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
- Promote Air-Met’s full range of environmental and occupational safety solutions across multiple product divisions.
- Collaborate closely with territory managers, and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely information and seamless service.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions in CRM and follow up on proposals to maximise conversion.
- Support lead generation activities by following up on marketing campaigns, webinars, and customer purchases to uncover new opportunities.
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and participate actively in training and team development.
What you’ll bring
- A genuine passion for helping customers and solving problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in internal sales, customer service, or technical support—ideally in the scientific, environmental, or industrial sectors.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with a desire to learn our products and industry.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems (experience with Microsoft Dynamics highly regarded).

- $80,000 base plus super plus quarterly Bonus
