As a Head/Deputy Head of Boarding, you will be critical in managing and supervising the day to day operations of the hostel to ensure appropriate pastoral care is provided to students. You will lead a team of staff supporting secondary education students to achieve their educational and personal goals. You will work closely with schools, families/guardians, communities and local stakeholders to provide the support students need to thrive in a boarding hostel.

Our Secondary Education Hostels operate in the following locations:

• NSW – Sydney, Newcastle, Dubbo
• QLD – Thursday Island
• WA – Kununurra
• NT – Tennant Creek, Wadeye

Salary and Benefits:

• Head of Boarding (APS5-6 depending on location)
• Deputy Head of Boarding (APS4-5 depending on location)

• APS6 $78,730 – $82,788 plus 15.4% super
• APS5 $71,425 – $75,833 plus 15.4% super
• APS4 $64,121 – $64,700 plus 15.4% super

Generous leave entitlements including:

• 18 days personal leave
• 20 days annual leave
• Additional paid close down leave during school holiday periods

• Salary Packaging of $15,900 per FBT year resulting in more take-home pay
• Shift Penalties for any weekend or public holiday shifts
