About us

We’re Raisely! We help charities raise money online. Our platform helps charities build fundraising campaigns, run donation appeals, and nurture their supporters. We make it easy to get started and scale-up, without needing technical help.

We started Raisely because charities have been underserved by technology for too long. We set out to change that, and so far we’ve helped raise over $100m.

We’re a team of 13-turning-20 as we rapidly grow our company (and impact). With your help, we’re hoping to raise $1bn in the next few years and rapidly scale out, supporting charities small and large in countries across the world.

Oh and one more thing. We walk this impact talk. We’re a proud B-corp, and purpose is baked into our constitution. We’re carbon neutral, and we’re starting our anti-racism journey to ensure we’re actively undoing centuries of systemic racism.

About the role

As an Account Executive, you’ll build our base of organisations who fundraise on Raisely. We want an out-going digitally savvy, experienced sales person with fantastic people skills.

We want you to help us deliver on our mission to bring world-class fundraising campaigns to global audiences that deliver outstanding results.

You’ll be responsible for developing and managing a sales funnel, ensuring high quality leads become Raisely customers. You’ll fast become a Raisely product expert, running professional product demos and advising prospective customers on how Raisely can help their campaigns. You’ll work closely with the team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new customers.

We think this role is perfect for someone with experience in a sales-related environment who is eager to join a purpose-driven technology company.

Reporting directly to our Head of Growth, you’ll work across our company to ensure that customer experience from their first touchpoint to going live is outstanding. You’ll identify opportunities to improve and help steer our team towards our ambitious growth goals.

This is a full-time, permanent role. Raisely is a remote company.

  • Role: Permanent, full-time (38hrs/week)
  • Location: Remote (we’ll help you set up your home office or a co-working space!)

On a day-to-day basis, you will

  • Respond to inbound sales enquiries and demo requests via various channels.
  • Set up and deliver 30 minute online demos and fortnightly webinars to prospective clients.
  • Methodically build and generate leads and manage the inbound and outbound sales funnel.
  • Be responsible for the handover of new clients to the Customer Success Team helping to get new campaigns live via our onboarding process.
  • Independently seek opportunities for growth at all stages of the sales funnel.
  • Assist in the optimisation of our sales funnel and processes, supporting the broader team across markets when required.
  • Help with the implementation of marketing strategies for growth and brand awareness to a broad targeted customer base.

About you

  • You are an excellent communicator. You know how to make connections, are a great networker and can build relatedness quickly and confidently.
  • You are ambitious and love to close the deal. You’ve worked in a Sales environment before and understand the methodology. You have a track record of hitting and exceeding goals.
  • Online products make sense to you. You have experience with a wide range of software platforms. You are good at explaining them to others.
  • You sweat on the details. You understand the importance of being meticulous with tracking, documenting and following up of leads and the development of your networks.
  • You’re independent. You’re happy to self manage, and can identify when you need to bring in others.
  • You’re not comfortable with the status quo. You’re not in this for a quick dollar; you think the world needs to be better and that technology will get us there.

We need you to

  • Be a fluent English speaker with clear written and verbal communication
  • Have 2+ years experience in a sales-oriented role (previous experience in SaaS or online fundraising at a charity is beneficial)
  • Be able to legally work where you live (we can’t sponsor a visa)

Salary – We try to pay above-average salaries based on benchmarks in Sydney. Depending on experience, this role pays AU$77,000 - $88,000 a year (including Super).

Ownership – We are focussed on building Raisely as a team, so we’ll offer you the chance to be a part-owner of the company with our Employee Share Scheme

Technology – We’ll get you a laptop and screen when you start, plus help you set up your home office.

Retreats – Every 6-ish months we fly you somewhere pretty for our team retreats. (Once we’re able to do so safely again)

Annual Leave – Everyone gets 4 weeks paid leave plus 11 days of public holidays, to be taken when you like. Plus, you are entitled to generous paid sick leave.

Work remotely – We’re a remote-first company - live and work wherever you’re happiest. We’ll cover a coworking space if you’d like to work there.

Flexibility – Adjust your hours as you need, within the requirements set above.

Training – We’ll support you with time when you want to learn new skills or pay for conference or course tickets.
