Adelaide PHN has a new opportunity for an experienced administrative professional to join our growing Older Persons, Aged Care and Palliative Care team.

The Role

The Older Persons, Aged Care and Palliative Care Support Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support services to the Older Persons, Aged Care and Palliative Care Team, to contribute to these project outcomes and ensure that related tasks are appropriately planned, implemented, monitored, and evaluated.

Your day-to-day duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Monitoring and management of any Older Persons, Aged Care and Palliative Care or related project inboxes, ensuring emails are responded to in a timely manner, forwarding to team members, as appropriate;
  • Ensuring project documents, correspondence and records are entered into relevant systems, well organised and accessible; and that information accurate and up to date;
  • Administering the Older Persons, Aged Care and Palliative Care team’s shared resources and tools, including spreadsheets, registers, work and operational plans;
  • Supporting project objectives and outcomes by assisting in the preparation and/or review of, and offering of/follow up on any related documentation or materials;
  • Assisting in the preparation and/or review of internal reports, briefs and other documentation as needed;
  • Assisting the Older Persons, Aged Care and Palliative Care team in planning, scheduling and confirming meetings and activities, to ensure relevant timeframes and deliverables are met;
  • Arranging function venues, equipment, catering arrangements and resources, and assisting with set up for project related activities;
  • Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, documenting/follow up meeting action items, and developing supporting documentation, such as reports, briefings and presentations.

About You

To be successful in this role you’ll need:

  • To be an exceptional team player with high level interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work within a team, and in cross-portfolio teams and groups.
  • Proficiency in data entry and administrative skills, with high-level attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite specifically with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to arrange function venues, equipment, and resources, assist with set up, catering arrangements.
  • The ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and community.
