The Association of Children’s Welfare Agencies (ACWA) is the NSW peak (industry) body for child and family services. The training arm is the Centre for Community Welfare Training (CCWT).

A key component of ACWA’s/CCWT’s work is the provision of professional development to community sector leaders and managers, including non-accredited professional development workshops, the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management, and the ACWA Community Leadership Program.

The Learning and Development Co-ordinator will promote and co-ordinate the design and delivery of these programs and will deliver training in the area of leadership and management. This includes short professional development workshops as well as full qualifications.

The role is 21 hours per week and is based in Sydney with hybrid work conditions offered. You will need to have:

  • community sector experience
  • a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • preferably a Diploma of Leadership and Management or similar
  • project management experience
