About the Position

We are excited to welcome a Purchasing and Projects Officer to the Act for Kids Support Hub team! In this role, you’ll take charge of procurement and operational delivery across the organisation. You’ll work closely with internal teams and suppliers to drive smarter spending, improve performance, and deliver real value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive procurement activities end-to-end, from sourcing and tenders through to purchasing and contract management.
• Build and lead supplier relationships, monitor performance, and uncover cost-saving, value-driven opportunities.
• Strengthen procurement capability by improving processes, tools, and best practice across the organisation.
• Keep operations running smoothly by supporting facilities projects, accounts payable, and core business services.

About You

• Relevant qualifications or demonstrated experience in Procurement, Business, Project Management or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to operate at a strategic level while delivering practical, hands-on outcomes.
• Demonstrated procurement experience, including coordinating tender processes across high-value spend categories (e.g. IT MSP and FMO).
• Eligibility to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required), including holding or obtaining required checks (Working with Children Check or professional exemption).
• Current driver’s licence.
