About the Position

We are excited to welcome a part-time (0.8FTE) Practice Supervisor to our Kedron Intensive Family Support team! In this role, you’ll support and empower practitioners to deliver high-quality, family-centred services; helping children and families navigate complex challenges safely and confidently. You’ll blend coaching, supervision, and hands-on leadership to strengthen practice, build capability, and drive meaningful outcomes across the team and community.

• Level 6 SCHCADS Award.
• Salary range: $110,110 - $114,984 + Superannuation.
• Part-time [0.8FTE], Government funded contract opportunity until 31 December 2028 with possible extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead with purpose: Mentor, coach, and supervise practitioners to build confidence, capability, and consistently strong outcomes for children and families.
• Guide best-practice delivery: Provide clear direction on risk, safety, and interventions—supporting teams to engage even the most complex families.
• Build a learning culture: Deliver supervision, training, and on-the-ground coaching that grows skills and strengthens practice every day.
• Collaborate and influence: Partner with stakeholders, support service delivery, and help shape a connected, high-performing team environment.

About You

• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (allied health, social work, human services) with professional registration (if required) and, a membership in a professional association (desirable).
• At least five (5) years’ experience working with children and families, preferably with time spent working within a trauma-informed framework.
• Relevant experience supervising staff in similar role.
• Eligibility to work in Australia (proof of eligibility required), including holding or obtaining required checks (Working with Children Check or professional exemption).
• Current driver’s licence.
