At ACSO, we look for people who believe in second chances, who share our values and are passionate about supporting forensic clients to re integrate back into the community. If this sounds like you, read on!
The Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO) is a vibrant, values driven NFP, focused on partnering with Government and the community to co-design services that create real social change. We are an organisation with a bold vision to create a safe and inclusive community where prison truly is the last resort. Our purpose is to strengthen the wellbeing of our communities by advocating for and delivering services which divert people away from the justice system.
Our Client Services Unit (CSU) program provides administration support to ACSO's COATS Assessment team, who assesses individuals who have been mandated to receive alcohol and other drugs assessment and treatment across the state of Victoria. Client Services Unit provides a state-wide intake service that administers both state and commonwealth funded treatment pathways for clients in contact with, or at risk of coming in to contact with, the justice system. Our team organises appointments for specialist assessments for clients being considered for, or placed on, community corrections orders that include Alcohol and Other Drug Assess and Treat conditions.
Success as a Team Leader requires you to have strong leadership qualities and a sound understanding of your program service delivery. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day service delivery of CSU, providing supervision to a medium-sized team to ensure quality client outcomes, positive work culture, and effective stakeholder relationships. This is a permanent full-time position, based in Richmond.
