Recent growth has now created a number of opportunities for Frontline Support Workers, to join our ranks as part of a new and exciting Direct Services Rover Team.

Job Purpose

You will be part of people's lives, professionally assisting them with a range of needs (role dependent) including but not limited to: movement, domestic duties, mealtime support, daily activities, medication administration and support with personal care. You will provide relief to operational sites across your allocated region to assist with shift coverage. Shift days/times will vary based on the allocated location and may include (but are not limited to) 6-2, 9-5, 2-10 and overnight shifts.

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with at least two years FTE post graduate experience (RN and EN only)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of health and disability services;
  • Confidence to critically assess and provide appropriate, effective and timely care in a multidisciplinary approach;
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment;
  • Current CPR;
  • Current Working with Children Check and NSW Driver's Licence (Green P2 or Full);
  • Ability to work a rotating roster in a 24 hour care facility;
  • Experience in working with people with disabilities, preferably in a community setting; (desirable)
  • Experience in working with people who have complex health support needs; (desirable) and
  • Understanding of legislation relevant to supporting people with disabilities including the NSW Disability Inclusion Act 2014.

  • South West - Wentworthville, Parramatta, Guildford
  • Inner West - Norton Road North Ryde, Summer Hill, Dundas
