For over 60 years, the Australian Conservation Foundation has been Australia’s most respected voice for nature and climate. We are the national environment organisation committed to protecting our unique and beautiful wildlife and natural world.
ACF is inclusive, non-partisan, and proudly funded by the Australian community. Whether it’s advocating for the Great Barrier Reef, koalas snoozing in big old trees, or strong climate action, our dedicated community of more than half a million people are working to create a world where forests, rivers, people and wildlife thrive.
January 2026 marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for ACF with Adam Bandt joining ACF as CEO. At a time when nature and climate need us most, we are building on our proud legacy with renewed energy, bold ambition and a steadfast commitment to creating lasting change.
This is a thrilling time to join ACF as we build on a proud 60-year history and leap into the future with renewed momentum, a passionate community and a powerful vision for a thriving natural world.
The Partnerships Lead is responsible for growing ACF's portfolio of corporate, workplace giving and community partnerships, helping to generate the income and support needed to deliver our ambitious environmental goals.
This is a highly relationship-focused role where you'll spend time meeting with current and prospective partners, building strong connections, identifying new opportunities and creating engaging partnership experiences. Working closely with colleagues across ACF, you'll develop proposals, secure new partnerships and ensure our partners feel valued, connected to our mission and inspired by the impact of their support.
You'll be joining ACF at an exciting time, helping to grow the partnerships that will strengthen Australia's most influential environmental movement and create lasting change for nature and climate.
You're a confident relationship-builder who thrives on creating meaningful partnerships and identifying opportunities that deliver mutual value. You bring experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorship, fundraising, account management or business development, and have a proven track record of securing and growing relationships that generate sustainable revenue.
You enjoy working with a wide range of stakeholders and are skilled at building trust, influencing decision-makers and maintaining strong long-term relationships. Commercially minded and results-focused, you're comfortable managing partnership pipelines, forecasting revenue and working towards ambitious targets.
An excellent communicator, you're able to develop compelling proposals and presentations, tailor your approach to different audiences and confidently represent an organisation externally. You're also highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records and use CRM systems to support partnership management and reporting. Experience with Blackbaud CRM would be an advantage, as would membership of the Fundraising Institute Australia (MFIA).
Most importantly, you're motivated by the opportunity to use your partnership and business development skills to support meaningful environmental outcomes and help grow the impact of Australia's leading environment organisation.
You’ll do important work with one of Australia’s most impactful organisations, and with our world-class organisational culture and great team, we guarantee you’ll have fun along the way.
ACF is proud to offer our staff a supportive workplace with excellent conditions, including:
People are at the heart of everything we do to protect our planet. To achieve the bold change we seek, we must represent the richness of diversity within our communities so that all of us who care about nature can step up and lead.

We actively encourage First Nations people, people from CALD backgrounds, LGBTIQA+ people, people with disability and others who have diverse experiences of our world to apply for this opportunity.
