The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the training, assessment and continuing professional development of emergency physicians, as well as the advancement of professional standards in emergency medicine in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the College as the Project Officer, Workforce and Rural Health, within the Department of Policy, Research and Partnerships. Working closely with the Manager, Workforce and Rural Health Strategy, you will help coordinate and deliver ACEM’s Rural Health Action Plan (RuHAP) and Workforce Strategy – key initiatives addressing the workforce challenges facing emergency medicine and health equity across regional, rural and remote Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
This is a hands-on role combining project coordination, analytical insight, stakeholder engagement and committee secretariat support. Responsibilities span:
This full-time, permanent role is based in Melbourne (Naarm / Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung Country), with occasional interstate and trans-Tasman travel required to support College priorities. Some work outside normal business hours may be required to meet business objectives.
