Bandjalang Aboriginal Corporation Prescribed Body Corporate RNTBC (under special administration) is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate for the Bandjalang people. The corporation exists to protect and advance the rights and interests of Bandjalang common law holders and to manage native title and related affairs in a way that reflects cultural authority, accountability and community priorities.
As a community owned and controlled Aboriginal corporation, the organisation is guided by Bandjalang cultural values, respectful governance and strong community relationships. The corporation is committed to culturally safe, respectful and transparent engagement with Members, Common Law Holders, Elders and community stakeholders.
This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced and practical Business Manager who can bring structure, clarity and strong financial capability to a small community-controlled organisation. The role has a strong operational and financial focus and is responsible for ensuring the corporation’s systems, compliance obligations, financial records and reporting processes are accurate, timely and audit ready.
The Business Manager plays a key role in supporting the stability, accountability and effectiveness of a culturally governed organisation working on behalf of Bandjalang people. The position is responsible for ensuring the organisation’s finances, systems and operations are well managed, compliant and transparent.
The Business Manager works within a culturally governed environment and plays an important role in supporting respectful community engagement, transparent decision-making and operational practices that align with the corporation’s responsibilities to Members, Common Law Holders and Country.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can confidently manage both the financial operations and the day-to-day corporate functions of a small organisation.
