Our Client is currently looking for a Part Time Residential Youth Worker in a culturally safe, fit-for-purpose, affordable accommodation for Indigenous Australians who need to be away from home to access employment opportunities, health, education and other essential services.

This role will involve:

• Being a mentor for our Indigenous students
• Providing tutoring and support for homework
• Routine tasks such as school pick up and drop off, carrying out occasional domestic duties

They are looking for candidates with:

A commitment to working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The requirements for this role include:

• Current Senior First Aid Certificate
• Certificate IV in Community Services
• Current Bus License for light-rigid vehicles (up to 25 seats) or willingness to obtain one
