Our Client, a large established not-for-profit organisation with an excellent reputation for supporting a range of clients is looking for a driven and proactive Community Engagement Case Worker.
This role will involve:
- Identify clients and client groups and their needs in Northern Sydney
- Meet with clients to understand their barriers to accessing health and well being programs and services
- Attend inter agency meetings
- Record data and case notes
- Develop relationships with other organisations and health providers
- Work with diverse client groups
ABRS are looking for candidates with an energetic approach who are able to build relationships in order to make a difference to clients lives and meet the cultural needs of the client group.
The requirements for this role include:
- A qualification related to human services such as a Cert III or Diploma in Community Services minimum
- An energetic, "can-do" approach to work
- Ability to engage with the Aboriginal community, build rapport, communicate efficiently and to record case notes including tracking progress of clients journey
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to closely with other agencies and link clients to relevant services
- Willingness to work independently in the community
- A driving license and a car is essential
- A valid and current working with children check
