Working with a collaborative and dynamic team, you will lead the delivery of the School Leadership Program (SLP). SLP is a strategic leadership program that brings together business leaders and school principals. Through facilitated workshops, mentoring and practical application, the program builds principals' strategic leadership capability, enabling them to lead change, strengthen their school communities and improve outcomes for students. At its core, the program creates meaningful partnerships between education and business that deliver lasting impact.
The program draws from the highly successful Strategic Leadership for Principals Program (SSLP) developed by Te Uru Amokura: The Springboard Trust in New Zealand and has been adapted by ABCN for the Australian context.
ABCN is a purpose-driven not-for-profit organisation that brings together leading Australian businesses and schools to address educational disadvantage through cross-sector partnerships and structured mentoring programs. With a network of over 50 corporate members and partners and more than 200 partner schools, ABCN’s programs foster confidence, resilience, and career readiness, empowering young Australians to thrive in the future world of work. In 2024, 4,721 volunteer mentors supported 10,802 students through ABCN programs.
While the majority of ABCN programs today focus on student mentoring, we have also scaled and deepened our impact through school-business partnerships more broadly, including through business -school support programs of which the School Leadership Program plays an important role.
