About the role

The Team Leader reports to the Manager, Place Management and will work with staff across a number of different teams, both within our social and private businesses to deliver sustainable long-term housing with a community wide focus.

You will be managing and supporting a team of Place Managers comprising Place Management & Housing Support staff, with some office management responsibilities. You will be required to work with staff & management to deliver KPI’s set by both Unison and The Department of Health & Human Services and reporting on these. There is also the requirement to work with clients directly & indirectly to help sustain tenancies and promote a community inclusion and focus, not only tenancy based management.

About you

To be successful, you will possess the following:

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in supervising, supporting and developing a team.
  • Agent representative certificate or willingness to complete one.
  • Knowledge and experience with the Residential Tenancies Act & Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal
  • Real Estate database experience
  • Department of Health & Human Services  - Tenancy Services experience preferred
  • Experience leading a Team within a housing based organisation
  • An understanding of Social Housing
  • Ability to listen, understand and problem solve issues across a number of different platforms.
