We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and self-motivated Payroll and Timesheets Administrator to join our team located in St Kilda, on a permanent part-time basis working 22.8 hours per week!

The role

The Payroll and Timesheets Administrator will assist and support to Windana's managers and team leaders with rostering and timesheets, ensuring correct data entry and accurate payment of wages for staff. The role will also focus on continuous improvement and streamlining of processes and systems relating to rostering and timesheets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide support on payroll processes, including timely and accurate processing of fortnightly payroll, deductions and allowances, calculation of termination pays, payroll adjustments and producing payslips
  • Provide support and coverage of the senior Payroll Officer as required
  • Assist and support Windana's managers and team leaders with rostering and timesheets
  • Work with managers and team leaders to ensure correct data entry of rostering information into Windana's HRIS, Employment Hero, to ensure staff get paid correctly and on time
  • Use the rostering information to ensure timesheets are correct and raise discrepancies to managers and team leaders
  • Enter in leave requests for staff into the HRIS and ensure accurate leave records
  • Assist with queries relating to payroll, timesheets, rostering, and HRIS
  • Focus on continuous improvement and streamline processes and systems relating to rostering and timesheets

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Any relevant qualifications or accreditations required
  • Experience in coordinating rostering and timesheets
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy for data entry
  • Ability to work autonomously under general direction and/or guidance
  • Experience working with an HRIS
  • Experience with payroll systems and understanding of payroll processes

Salary will be from $39.26 plus 10.5% superannuation on top.
